 General Information what's about API Yeah | M2M Administration

If you're tired of reading endless Web Service description manuals, you've come to the right place! Just choose your needed administration API-Method on the right, Paste your SIM Card numbers comma seperated into the Text Area, and let API Yeah do the boring XML mass-administration stuff for ya. API Yeah is able to detect the total amount of SIM card numbers residing in every Text Area and split calculated request's into a stack of 50s XML-file packages. The most effective way to use this SOAP-XML generator is to download the binarys and to integrate this App into your Web Server, because it moves the splitted SOAP-XML/MMD files directly into your Axway Target directory. The only system requirement is to have PHP 5.3 or higher installed on your machine and to use the Axway Activator Client to encrypt, compress and to process the MMD/XML files. In order to use this XML-File generator you have to set up a few variables regarding your System file path and your M2M Telekom Solution. As you probably know, the file API is designed to create XML-Executions for up to 100 SIM Cards. For safety and reliability reasons, API Yeah split the total amount of SIMs into 50s packages. So the only challenge with this tool is to list your SIM cards comma separated in every Text-Area.  SIMActivation Method




SIM activation, activates one or more delivered M2M SIM Card(s) and may start the Contract Binding Period, depending on your test tariff settings. I strongly recommend to use TemplateSIMActivation Method instead, because of the much more efficient scalability for the Template settings.

 TemplateSIMActivation Method

Template sim activation, activates one or more delivered M2M SIM Card(s) by a predefined activation template (in order you have to create one activation template in CRM-GUI), and may start the Contract Binding Period, depending on your test tariff settings.

Set sim config access, primary set one APN for a single SIM or a bunch of SIM Cards. Optional it is possible to set a static IP Address for one SIM Card at a Time. Meaning by that: 1 SIM Card, 1 APN Name and one 1 IP-Adress setting together at a time is possible.

Delete sim config access, deletes all APN's and IP Address-configuration's for a single SIM or a bunch of SIM Cards.

SIM limit set, sets one limit profile, or one fraud profile (in order you have to create fraud/limit profiles in CRM-GUI). It is also possible to set Limit and Fraud Profile together for selected SIM(s).

 OverrideLimit Method




Override limit overrides a Limit for selected SIM Card(s).

 SIMCancellation Method




SIM Cancellation will result in termination of contract for the selected SIM(s) and leave them unusable. Devices with a built-in SIM will be permanently inoperative. Termination can only be canceled by customer service, within a period of 60 days, for a fee. So please be careful with this API Method.

 SIMSuspenison Method




SIM Suspension technically blocks the SIM card in the core network thus preventing further usage. Recurring charges resulting from the tariff of the SIM card will not be invoiced during suspension. The minimum suspension period is one day.

 SIMResumption Method




SIM resumption unsuspending selected SIM(s) and makes it possible for it to connect again to the network. The binding period is prolonged according to tariff by the number of days or month it was in suspended state. It is possible that an additional charge will be required for the unsuspension per SIM card

 SIMVoiceSettingsSet Method

SIM voice settings set is used to set Voice Profiles for selected SIM(s). The predefined voice profile sets Calling Line Identification Restriction (in order you have to create one in CRM-GUI).

SIM tariff change is used to change available tariffs. The prerequisite for changing tariffs: You need at least two different tariffs, or you want to change from test to productive state within the same tariff. If this is the case, you can call the target tariff and the belonging options to change in the text fields above. The tariff change will take effect immediately, if no binding period for the tariff and the options exist. The Logic behind the API Method will use the earliest possible change date. I strongly recommend to use TemplateSIMTariffChange instead.

Network profile set is used to set network profiles regarding circuit switched, packet switched connection restrictions and general barrings under conditions. If you set the planned change date to actual date (today), you need to know that the logic behind the script is adding 1 hour to the current timestamp (timestamp starts by clicking Create Button). So please dont wait to long for starting your Axway Activator afterwards.
